MV Lapat

If you are an underwater lover and want to make most of your precious holiday time then this 4 days and 4 nights Similan Island Liveaboard trip is the best thing you can do!

The MV Lapat is a new liveaboard, just launched in 2017. This comfortable liveaboard is visiting the best dive sites at the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock. Now check it out. . .

You start your Similan Island Liveaboard trip by getting picked up at your accommodation (from Phuket in the afternoon or from Khao Lak in the early evening). The check in happens in the Khao Lak dive center, then you get transferred to the pier in Tab Lamu and have a buffet dinner served on board before the liveaboard cruises overnight to the Similan Islands where you wake up to a beautiful scenery, knowing that this will be your life for 4 exciting days. . .

Enjoying the dive briefing with a cup of coffee gives you a glimpse of what awaits you in your first dive at the Similan Islands (with max.4 divers in the group and 45-60 minutes dive time). After a full breakfast is served and you relaxed for a while, it’s time for Similan Island dive #2, followed by the lunch buffet, more time to relax and the opportunity to do a walk on the beach (only Similan Island beaches are open for visiting!). Dive #3 and #4 are also at the Similan Islands with fruits and snacks in-between and #4 being a sunset dive. After the dinner buffet just relax and watch the stars, while the boat anchors in a bay at one of the Similan Islands.

On day 2 and 3 you basically repeat this schedule. . . only the locations change. The first dive on day 2 is your last one at the Similan Islands, then the liveaboard heads north to have the next 2 dives at Koh Bon Island and the last dive of that day for sunset will already be further north at Koh Tachai Island, where the boat will stay overnight because the morning dive on day 3 will also be at Koh Tachai. Now you are heading even further north to explore one of the most famous dive sites, Richelieu Rock, where you have the pleasure to dive two times. For your sunset dive the liveaboard brings you back south to Koh Tachai Island.

Your last day of this amazing Similan Island liveaboard trip gives you another dive at Koh Tachai and while you are enjoying the breakfast buffet and some relax time, the liveaboard returns one more time to Koh Bon Island for another exciting dive and soon you are on your way back to Khao Lak, where you will arrive approximately at 15:30.

The Similan Island Liveaboard MV Lapat is a very spacious and comfortable steel boat and offers all the amenities to enjoy yourself during the trip. The boat is 24m long, 5m wide and takes a maximum of 16 divers in 8 cabins. There are 2 master cabins with en-suite bathroom and 6 twin cabins. All cabins have air conditioning. There are four bathrooms on the boat plus outdoor showers. The upper deck features LCD TV, DVD, VCD, and MP3. There is a spacious sun deck and the shaded dining area for you to spend time between dives. The M/V Lapat has hot showers, plus provides you with eco-friendly products to use in the bathrooms, so you don’t pollute the reefs around the dive sites. The boat is equipped with all the necessary safety features, emergency oxygen and extensive first aid kit as well as a life-raft, life jackets and fire extinguishers.

The experienced, friendly and helpful boat crew will take good care of you and make your Similan Island Liveaboard trip a memorable experience.
